All successful departments require control systems that match their needs and not all have to be complicated. When we prepare our interim reports, we will identify and put forward what we consider to be appropriate and meaningful reporting structures that both provide the information that is needed to manage the business and are within the capability of those who have to provide it on an ongoing basis.
