Tender management
Years of experience with a multitude of suppliers and contractors, means that Balance are experienced to manage the complete lifecycle of the tender process. The cycle includes understanding your objectives, compiling the tender content, managing responses and meeting deadlines, whilst managing change of service or contractor.
Contract writing
As with contract negotiations, contract writing is a skill which only comes about through years of experience. It requires an understanding of different business sector requirements, cultural and industry diversity, plus the ability to document legal terminology in ways which can be understood by all parties to whom it refers.
Recruitment/Interview and selection
Over the years, Balance have met many staff members within the catering services team of many companies. As such we know what makes a good Manager. We can manage the selection process from writing the advertisement through to the employment contract.
Long term planning proposals
Many of our clients enlist our help with longer term action plans and forecasts, for example, if they want to evaluate accurate FM cost projections over a three to five year period. Our expertise is to provide you with sensible projections and recommendations that may include service changes, building and design layouts, management and staff structures or indeed you may simply want to look at ways to reduce costs without causing major changes to operational policies or customer based service levels.
In-house restructure
Restructuring can come in many forms; the team, the service and the premises. In many cases our projects have involved the re-design and restructuring of all of the above. It is our considered opinion that you must always take people with you on an informed basis were practically possible.
