Polaroid (UK)

Case study

Our association with Polaroid was as a result of an earlier exploratory meeting with the procurement department. At the time of the assignment the company were totally reassessing their Vale of Levin manufacturing plant.

Following a further operational review of the company's fairly large FM operation which not only included an extensive catering service and multi site and vending facility, it was agreed within our terms of reference that all possible means should be considered when putting our interim report together in order to minimise the effect of service reductions to the company’s remaining workforce.

During the presentation of our proposals, we were able to put forward recommendations that not only protected 80% of the existing service levels for Polaroid’s workforce but more importantly provided a significant reduction in operating costs.
